Seguimos en la semana de integración; en la mano derecha la pulsera con todas las actividades que están planificadas para los próximos días; en la izquierda el color de mi equipo para alguno de los juegos.

El miércoles, después de un mal comienzo de mañana a causa de un madrugón inútil, el día terminó patinando sobre hielo hasta medianoche. Convirtieron la pista en una especie de discoteca con luces y música a todo volumen y allí anduvimos intentando no rompernos nada.

Ayer a la tarde se organizó una barbacoa en la universidad, con mucha gente y más comida. También nos han presentado (a los extranjeros) ante la vice-alcaldesa de la ciudad, ¿otro paso más para integrarnos?

Una cosa que os quería contar es que durante el mes que llevamos aquí, donde hemos conocido muchísima gente, entre presentación presentación ha salido el tema del euskera. Muchos no sabían que existía, y otros pensaban que era parecido al castellano. Alguno que otro ya ha empezado a aprender alguna palabra, que quieras que no, es más de lo que muchos residentes saben.

Os presento a Miguel Ángel, un mejicano que he conocido aquí, lector asiduo de Namasté, jejeje. Y hablando de idiomas, él sabe hablar maya, idioma del que yo desconocía su existencia. Curioso, eh? "Salaka" es la primera palabra que he aprendido; "hola".

On Wednesday, after a bad start in the morning because of a useless early rising, the day ended up ice skating until midnight. The track become a kind of disco with different colorful lights and loud music; we had so much fun trying not to break anything.

Yesterday a barbecue was organized in the university, with lots of people and more food. Moreover, we, the foreigners were introduced to the vice-mayor of the city, one step forward for the integration?

These days lots of people have discovered "euskera", also known as "basque", the language that is spoken in the Basque Country (Northern Spain). Some of them already learnt a couple of words, at least it's more than lots of the local inhabitants know.

This is Miguel Angel, a mexican that I've known here, a regular reader of Namasté, hehehe. Talking about languages, he can speak "maya", a language I had never heard about. Peculiar, uh? "Salaka" is the first word I've learnt; "hi".
