Después de haber pasado la mañana
en el mercado de las pulgas, a la tarde tocaba la zona de Les Halles. Era la
víspera de Nochevieja y teníamos que encontrar el vestido para el día
siguiente. Ya habíamos fichado uno cada una en una pequeña tienda, así que allí
fuimos directas. Hizo mucho frío y nos llovió un poco pero el día salió redondo
y encontramos todo lo que buscábamos.
El edificio que se ve detrás es el Centro Pompidou, el Centro Nacional de Arte y Cultura, que posee una de las colecciones de arte moderno más completas del mundo. El edificio es cuanto menos llamativo; como veis, rompe totalmente con la arquitectura que rodea la zona.

After spending the morning in the Flea Market, the afternoon was for "Les Halles". It was New Year's Eve in 2 days and we needed to find our dresses; we had already chosen them in a little shop, so we went straight there. It was so cold and it rained a bit but we have nothing to complain 'cause we found all we were looking for.
The building that can be seen behind is the Pompidou Center, the National Art and Culture Center, that own one of the most complete modern art collections. The building is at least flashy, it really clashes with the architecture of the area.
